HCS-645 Healthcare Policy and Regulation (3)

This course explores the elements of U.S. policy making in healthcare including the government’s role in policy and reform. Students examine the social, political, and economic aspects of health policy and learn how policies are developed, interpreted, and implemented. Includes an overview of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and laws and regulations that have been passed to improve U.S. healthcare. Grading: A-F only.
