SPAN-322 Heritage Spanish II (3)

Heritage speakers of Spanish are students who have been raised in Spanish-speaking homes and whose schooling has, for the most part, been in English in the United States. This course builds on the Spanish skills that students already possess from coursework or through language experience. The course strengthens formal grammar and vocabulary knowledge as well as reading, writing, and speaking skills for academic and professional settings. The course also functions as an intellectual space to facilitate student sharing and appreciation of their cultural and linguistic experiences and aptitudes. Usually Offered: spring.
