ECON-662 Development Microeconomics (3)


This course explores key microeconomic issues in economic development, focusing on why some countries remain poor and how markets function in low and middle-income economies. Topics include poverty, education, health, labor markets and migration, credit, and firms, emphasizing both theoretical contributions and empirical applications at the frontier of development economics. Usually Offered: fall. Prerequisite: ECON-600  or ECON-803 .
