BIO-426 Molecular Epidemiology (3)

Epidemiology is the study of the patterns and determinants of health-related events in populations and the applications of the study to the control of the events. This course introduces epidemiological methods including study design, calculation, and interpretation of measures of public health impact. Students examine the integration of molecular biology and genetic concepts and methodologies in epidemiological research. Crosslist: BIO-626. Prerequisite: BIO-356.
