GOVT-646 Social Movements (3)

This course focuses on the evolution, actions, and repercussions of social movements. Using a comparative framework, students investigate debates about social movements to understand resistance, cultural shifts that produce or arise with movements, the institutional dimensions of movement activity, and their political outcomes. The course considers issues through the lens of scholarship, activism, and institutions of power. Crosslist: GOVT-446.
