Introduction to business finance, including global aspects, overview of money, and capital markets; financial analysis and time value of money; corporate securities, stock and bond pricing; acquisition and use of funds and cost of capital; capital budgeting. Also includes an introduction to portfolio diversification and asset pricing models. Prerequisite: ACCT-240 with a grade of C or better, ECON-200, and STAT-202 or STAT-203 (STAT-203 strongly preferred).
