This course studies government and cultural systems and their influences on and support of the arts. Includes federal, state, and local support of the arts in the United States and the impact of government policy, technology, and globalization on artists and arts organizations. Usually offered every spring. Prerequisite: admission to the MA or graduate certificate in Arts Management or permission of instructor.
