A survey of energy sources and other resources necessary for life. This course examines environmental issues related to air, water, land, food, and global climate change, as well as issues of resource utilization and competition for resources. Emphasis is placed on understanding the physics and chemistry of these environmental interactions and how they affect our quality of life. Usually offered every term.
