Statistical concepts and methods used in business decision making. Topics include probability rules, discrete and continuous distributions, descriptive and graphical statistics, estimation, confidence intervals, hypothesis testing, analysis of variance, regression, and applications of MS Excel data analysis tools to economic and business data. Usually offered every term. May be taken A-F only. Prerequisite: MATH-150, MATH-151, MATH-154, or MATH-155. Note: students may receive credit for only one of STAT-202, STAT-203, or STAT-204.
