Explores key theories of social change and surveys historical and contemporary social movements, with a particular focus on the relationship between technological innovation, health, and social struggle. Students analyze historical and structural determinants of health and conceptualize movement-based action as a means of collectively caring for individuals and communities. Meets with ANTH-425.
