Communication: Film and Media Arts (BA) and Photography (BA) [SOC] majors take COMM-105 Visual Literacy during the first year. During the sophomore year, Communication: Journalism (BA) and Communication: Communication Studies (BA) students take COMM-200 Writing for Communication . Public Relations & Strategic Communication (BA) majors take COMM-209 Communication and Society during the sophomore year, and Communication: Journalism (BA) majors take COMM-320 Reporting following COMM-200 Writing for Communication . Communication: Communication Studies (BA) majors complete COMM-378 Introduction to Communication Research Methods before their sophomore or junior year.
