Offered by the Office of Graduate & Professional Studies , the Healthcare Management (MS) is a fully online, 30-credit hour degree program geared toward mid-career professionals in health care fields who seek a deeper knowledge of health care transformation and the application of information technology and data analysis in the health care industry. Graduates possess a unique skillset that is highly sought in health systems management organizations within the public, private, and nonprofit sectors. This degree incorporates healthcare management’s multi-disciplinary aspects of professional leadership, data analysis, and information technology. The curriculum’s relevance and applicability to the workplace has been ensured by a council of professionals on the cutting edge of the health care sciences, providing advice on competencies, standards, and industry trends. Students taking two courses per semester may complete the program in 20 months.

Admission to the Program
In addition to meeting the minimum university requirements for graduate study, applicants must have earned an undergraduate bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with a satisfactory grade point average. Applicants whose first language is not English must have a satisfactory score on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).
