Arabic Language (Minor)

Minor Requirements

18-24 credit hours from ARAB coursework with grades of C or better, minimum 3 credit hours of ARAB coursework at or above 400-level must be taken at American University’s campus or offered through the Department of World Languages and Cultures , and at least 12 credit hours unique to the minor, from one of the following options:
- 18 credit hours at or above 300-level
- 24 credit hours, including at least 9 credit hours at or above 300-level that includes a topics course but may not include Colloquial Arabic

Complete one of the following options:

18 credit hours from ARAB coursework at or above 300-level
24 credit hours from ARAB coursework, including at least 9 credit hours at or above 300-level that includes a topics course but may not include Colloquial Arabic
