Offered by the School of Professional & Extended Studies , the English Language and Training Academy (ELTA) is an intensive academic English program especially for students who plan to enter undergraduate or graduate studies in the United States. ELTA has five levels of instruction from low intermediate through advanced. Students will improve all of their English language skills as well as gain a better understanding of American culture. In addition to the courses, ELTA includes guest lectures, academic workshops, conversation partners, site visits into DC, and full access to all AU facilities.
