Admission to the Program
In addition to the minimum university requirements for graduate study, applicants are expected to have an adequate background in the mathematical sciences, equivalent to differential, integral, and multivariate calculus. Graduate Record Examination (GRE) scores are required. A cumulative undergraduate grade point average of 3.00 (on a 4.00 scale) is required. Specific courses needed to prepare for entering the program are identified through interviews with the applicant.
Degree Requirements
- 33 credit hours of approved graduate coursework
- Capstone Experience: 6 credit hours in 600-level or above courses approved by faculty advisor, with grades of B or better
- Students participate in noncredit workshops and seminars on professional skills and current issues in science and technology. Students are required to demonstrate proficiency in these areas as part of the capstone project, internship, and compulsory presentation.
