Methods include techniques for estimation and inference with qualitative and quantitative data focusing on simple linear and multiple regression, correlation, logistic regression, and analysis of variance. Usually offered every term. Prerequisite: STAT-202 or STAT-203 with a grade of C or higher, or permission of department. Note: Students may not receive credit for STAT-302 and STAT-514. Students should consult the department for advice and placement testing for appropriate mathematics and statistics courses.
